Mahatma Gandhi was a great freedom fighter and leader of India. His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was born on 2 October 1869 in Gujarat. He believed in truth and non-violence and played an important role in India’s freedom struggle. He is popularly known as the Father of the Nation.
