Narendra Modi is the current 14th Prime Minister of India, in office since May 2014. Born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, he rose from humble beginnings to become a dominant figure in Indian politics. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at a young age and later transitioned to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), where he served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014. Known for his focus on economic development, infrastructure, and digital transformation, Modi led the BJP to consecutive national victories, shaping India’s modern economic and geopolitical landscape.
